Pretty. White. Cold. Piling up high.
And today is still Thursday. To quote my neighbor, whom I met as I left the house, "You still have to make Shabbos." And that means shopping. So, I picked up my wonderful little folding shopping bag on wheels and trudged through the snow. It wasn't so hard going at 11AM, but. I stopped to buy some tights, and then I went on to the supermarket, where I chatted with a friend, and then I went to another store to get the bread and few other things...pumperknickel onion rolls - YUM. It's a bakery and a take out store, plus a butcher shop. Not quite a supermarket, but good stuff.
And then I had lunch and that took an hour or so, and by the time I got home, all traces of my original passing were *gone*.
