We've spent the last few days worried about my husband catching my nasty cold from last week.

We thought he had - he was sniffly yesterday and this morning, although nothing like I had been. We hoped he'd just got a mild case.

Nope. He caught his very *own* cold. Which I now have. Not having completely recovered from cold #1.
